LE FREHINDI REGARDS SAFETY & SECURITY AS OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY OVER ALL OTHER OBJECTIVES.

Le Frehindi is a proud member of APST in Europe which not only promotes good practice and safety in School & University travel but also backs you with requisite Financial Guarantees as mandated by ATOUT France & other European regulatory institutions.

As APST members we adhere to a rigorous Code of Practice and Safety Management Standards.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Le Frehindi is committed to:

• Facilitating, fostering and promoting a positive health and safety culture right from the start.
• Assessing the risks associated with activities and maintaining appropriate control measures
• Providing safe transport and accommodation at verified host families & excellent international hostels/camps.
• Providing adequate financial and human resources to implement health & safety policy
• Ensuring all staff are able & trained on safety measures.
• Maintaining effective communications with teachers,parents & institutions through What’s app or SMS during the Tour.
• End of the day daily updating with pictures on daily activities on What’s app group of Parents & teachers.

The roll out of safety instructions from time to time & regular updation of What’s app Groups and the monitoring of the safety standards is the responsibility of Le Frehindi staff along with the accompanying teachers & mentors who are committed to consistently meeting the objectives of our safety policy.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT OF ACCOMMODATION

All accommodation including the host families arranged by Le Frehindi :

• Host families & hostels verified by us well before the program..
• Complies with local legislation with respect to fire and general safety
• Receives a Standard Audit and risk assessment prior to use by Le Frehindi-Paris & New Delhi offices.
• For students taking up host families we make sure that they are easily contactable and in case the student is not comfortable for any reason, we always have a process in place to move pupils away & move them either with accompanying teacher or at a safe place close to the school/University.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT OF TRANSPORT

We take great care to ensure that our travel arrangements are always as safe as possible, whether students are travelling by coach, ferry or air transport.

COACHES, FERRY & TRAIN TRANSPORT

European coach & train travel is regulated and an Operator licence for coaches is only granted if a national or international operation satisfies the requirement of professional competence. Vehicles must also be properly maintained. Le Frehindi selects only reputable European or Indian coach companies and all coach suppliers are subject to a Standard Coach Audit. All foreign coaches & ferries used by Le Frehindi must conform to all local, national and international standards.
